The Mulberry River near Mulberry
* until this evening.
* At 9:30 AM Monday, the stage was 10.8 feet.
* Action stage is 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is falling and will fall below action stage
late this morning.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, no flooding occurs but the river is swift and
dangerous. Backwater from the Arkansas River may affect low lying
areas near the first few miles of the Mulberry River.

The Poteau River near Poteau.
* until late tonight, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:45 AM Monday, the stage was 27.36 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring but the river is falling.
* Forecast...The Poteau River near Poteau crested this morning and
will continue falling to below flood stage by this evening.
* Impact...At 28.0 feet, severe valley flooding affects croplands and
county roads from southeast of Poteau to the mouth of Brazil Creek.
Old Highway 112 may become impassable.

* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Poteau River near Panama will continue rising to
near 36.5 feet late tonight. The river is expected to fall
below flood stage Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 37.0 feet, extensive flooding of crop and pasturelands
occur between Shady Point and Arkoma. Many roads in the floodplain
become impassable.

* Impact...At 402.0 feet, the access road into Tailwater Park may be
impassable due to high water. The recreational vehicle campground
near Rena Road is affected by high water.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Arkansas River near Muskogee.
* until Friday evening.
* At 9:00 AM Monday, the stage was 31.42 feet.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River near Muskogee will continue rising to
near 31.9 feet this evening. Necessary changes in upstream reservoir
releases will impact the river level and updates to this warning
should be closely monitored. The river is expected to fall to near
flood stage early Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, areas on the grounds of the OG&E power plant
are flooded. Moderate agricultural flooding occurs.

* until Wednesday evening.
* At 9:00 AM Monday, the stage was 26.58 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Van Buren will continue rising to
near 26.7 feet this afternoon. The river is expected to fall below
flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
* Impact...At 27.0 feet, extensive lowland flooding occurs east of the
I-540 bridge to Vache Grasse Creek. Sand and gravel companies,
marine terminals, and similar businesses in the floodplain begin to
flood. The lowest seating rows in the Kelley Park amphitheater are
covered by high water.

The Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam.
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 9:00 AM Monday, the stage was 360.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 357.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 362.1 feet by
Tuesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage late
Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 363.0 feet, patrolling of McLean Bottom Levee in Logan
County and Lower Hartman Levee in Johnson County begins. Flooding
spreads over more than 4,000 acres in Franklin and Logan Counties.
Numerous gas fields are flooded. Some agricultural lands in Johnson
County also are flooded.
