...Accumulating Snow Overnight Through Sunday Evening...

.A slow moving winter storm system will spread light to moderate
snow across the region tonight through Sunday evening. Snowfall
totals of 3 to 7 inches are forecast, with the higher amounts
occurring over portions of east central and northeast Iowa where
the snowfall duration is likely to be around 24 hours or more.
Lower amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over portions of
northeast Missouri and west Central Illinois where the duration
will be shorter. The primary impacts will be snow covered and
slick roadways, with drifting snow mostly likely in open or rural
areas.

SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6
inches expected, with isolated higher amounts possible west of
a line from Independence, to Iowa City and to Washington. The
lower range of amounts will occur from Fairfield to Burlington
and southward.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast and southeast Iowa
and west central Illinois.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to midnight CST Sunday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult.
