the living areas of homes in the Port Marmac area begin flooding.
* Impact: At 33.0 feet...Clarksville city businesses from 1st Street
to 3rd Street begin to flood.
* Impact: At 32.8 feet...IL route 96 from near Mozier to County Road
2 inundated and closed near this height.
* Impact: At 32.5 feet...Near this level, the lock is closed to
navigation.
* Impact: At 32.3 feet...Route N is closed between Route D and
Highway 79.

morning.
* Impact: At 35.1 feet...The levee behind Lock and Dam 25 will
overtop at this height without additional protection.
* Impact: At 34.6 feet...Route M is closed south of Elsberry from
Highway 79 east to where state maintenance ends near Apex Lane.
* Impact: At 34.5 feet...Near this height, the office building and
storage building of Kimaterials, a sand and gravel company on
Highway 79 between Winfield and Old Monroe, begins flooding. Also,
the Corps has not kept Lock 25 open above this height.
* Impact: At 34.0 feet...This is the level of the levee protection
for Winfield.
* Impact: At 33.0 feet...Route N is closed from Highway 79 at
Winfield to where state maintenance ends.

begin to flood.
* Impact: At 30.9 feet...Missouri Route B from Washeon Road to
Seeburger Road is closed near this height.
* Impact: At 30.1 feet...Water reaches the intersection of Main
Street and Maple Street.
* Impact: At 29.1 feet...Water reaches Main at Church Street.
* Impact: At 29.0 feet...Route 100 between Grafton and Alton at
Clifton Terrace is flooded near this height.
* Impact: At 28.8 feet...Water begins entering the north hangars at
Smartt Field.
* Impact: At 28.5 feet...Water begins entering the ramps on the north
end of Smartt Field as the northwest and northeast corners are
already flooded.
* Impact: At 28.4 feet...Water reaches Main Street at the Vistors
Center
* Impact: At 28.3 feet...Intersection at Main (Route 100) & Route 3
is closed. Also at this level the Northeast Corner of Smartt
Airfield begins flooding.
* Impact: At 28.0 feet...Agricultural levee north of Highway 370 is
overtopped, flooding a St. Peters recreational area around a lake
near 370 and Truman.

* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to crest near 35.2 feet by Sunday evening.
* Impact: At 34.2 feet...Near this height water will begin flowing
over Riverlands Way between Highway 67 and Mel Price Locks and Dam.
This road is a part of the Consolidated North County levee, so this
is the point when water begins gradually flowing onto the protected
farmland and farm homes behind the levee.
* Impact: At 32.9 feet...Riverfront Park in Alton begins flooding.
* Impact: At 31.5 feet...Commercial basements in Alton begin to flood
within a foot of this height.
* Impact: At 30.5 feet...Bloch Marine Service at the Harbor Point
Yacht Club begins flooding within a foot of this level.

* At 10:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 36.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to crest near 41.8 feet by early Monday
morning.
* Impact: At 42.0 feet...Riverview Blvd becomes flooded. A panel
floodgate is installed at Riverview Blvd.
* Impact: At 41.0 feet...At this level, St. Louis City installs a
double floodgate at Branch Street in north St. Louis.
* Impact: At 40.3 feet...With record inflows from the Meramec, this
was the stage at which U.S. Highway 61/67 at Route K west of
Kimmswick was closed in both directions in December 2015.
* Impact: At 40.0 feet...Lemay Park just south of Lemay Ferry Road
will begin flooding. The St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District
will shut down the Watkins Creek pump station in the 11000 block of
Riverview Drive in Spanish Lake.
* Impact: At 39.1 feet...Windsor Harbor Road bridge southeast of
Kimmswick begins flooding, isolating residents south of the bridge.
* Impact: At 39.0 feet...The city of Kimmswick, MO begins flooding.
Two more St. Louis floodgates are closed at North Market Street
(north St. Louis) and at Barton Street on the south side. Near
this height, the Choteau Island levee is overtopped, affecting 2400
acres.
* Impact: At 38.5 feet...Nellie Avenue, south of Lemay Ferry Road
along River des Peres, begins flooding.
* Impact: At 38.0 feet...The U.S. Coast Guard will consider closing
the St. Louis harbor to navigation above this level. Four more
floodgates are closed at Prairie Avenue, Madison Avenue, Mullanphy
Street, and the railroad bed near Lesparance Street.
* Impact: At 37.5 feet...Highway 61/67 south of Pevely begin flooding
at the Joachim Creek bridge within a foot of this level.
* Impact: At 37.0 feet...Three more floodgates are closed at this
level: the Missouri Illinois Sand Company gate in south St. Louis,
the City of St. Louis railroad gate, and a double gate at East
Grand in north St. Louis. Also, with record inflow from the
Meramec in December 2015, Missouri Route K west of Kimmswick was
closed in both directions at Rock Creek near this height.
* Impact: At 36.5 feet...At this height, water will reach the base of
floodgates at Poplar and at Chouteau. With record inflows from the
Meramec, Missouri Route M was closed near this height from I-55 to
U.S. 61/67 in December 2015.

LaGrange to the south side of the LaGrange city limits near this
height. This makes Route C the only way into and out of town.

gates.

* Impact: At 35.1 feet...The levee behind Lock and Dam 25 will
overtop at this height without additional protection.
* Impact: At 34.6 feet...Route M is closed south of Elsberry from
Highway 79 east to where state maintenance ends near Apex Lane.
* Impact: At 34.5 feet...Near this height, the office building and
storage building of Kimaterials, a sand and gravel company on
Highway 79 between Winfield and Old Monroe, begins flooding. Also,
the Corps has not kept Lock 25 open above this height.
* Impact: At 34.0 feet...This is the level of the levee protection
for Winfield.
* Impact: At 33.0 feet...Route N is closed from Highway 79 at
Winfield to where state maintenance ends.
* Impact: At 32.5 feet...Near this level, Winfield Lock 25 is closed

* At 10:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 28.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to crest near 35.2 feet by Sunday evening.
* Impact: At 35.5 feet...At this approximate stage, Mel Price Lock
and Dam must close the lock to navigation. This last happened on
July 10, 1993.
* Impact: At 34.2 feet...Near this height water will begin flowing
over Riverlands Way between Highway 67 and Mel Price Locks and Dam.
This road is a part of the Consolidated North County levee, so this
is the point when water begins gradually flowing onto the protected
farmland and farm homes behind the levee.
* Impact: At 32.9 feet...Riverfront Park in Alton begins flooding.
* Impact: At 31.5 feet...Commercial basements in Alton begin to flood
within a foot of this height.
* Impact: At 30.5 feet...Bloch Marine Service at the Harbor Point
Yacht Club begins flooding within a foot of this level.
* Impact: At 29.9 feet...Route 100 at Alton closes within a foot of
this height. Also at this level the north and south Wood River
Levee structures are closed.
* Impact: At 29.3 feet...The North Wood River Levee must be closed at
this level.
* Impact: At 29.0 feet...The southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 67 will
flood within a foot of this level. Depending on circumstance,
MoDOT may need to divert southbound traffic to the northbound
lanes.

* At 10:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 35.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to crest near 41.9 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact: At 42.0 feet...Riverview Blvd becomes flooded. A panel
floodgate is installed at Riverview Blvd.
* Impact: At 41.0 feet...At this level, St. Louis City installs a
double floodgate at Branch Street in north St. Louis.
* Impact: At 40.3 feet...With record inflows from the Meramec, this
was the stage at which U.S. Highway 61/67 at Route K west of
Kimmswick was closed in both directions in December 2015.
* Impact: At 40.0 feet...Lemay Park just south of Lemay Ferry Road
will begin flooding. The St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District
will shut down the Watkins Creek pump station in the 11000 block of
Riverview Drive in Spanish Lake.
* Impact: At 39.1 feet...Windsor Harbor Road bridge southeast of
Kimmswick begins flooding, isolating residents south of the bridge.
* Impact: At 39.0 feet...The city of Kimmswick, MO begins flooding.
Two more St. Louis floodgates are closed at North Market Street
(north St. Louis) and at Barton Street on the south side. Near
this height, the Choteau Island levee is overtopped, affecting 2400
acres.
* Impact: At 38.5 feet...Nellie Avenue, south of Lemay Ferry Road
along River des Peres, begins flooding.
* Impact: At 38.0 feet...The U.S. Coast Guard will consider closing
the St. Louis harbor to navigation above this level. Four more
floodgates are closed at Prairie Avenue, Madison Avenue, Mullanphy
Street, and the railroad bed near Lesparance Street.
* Impact: At 37.5 feet...Highway 61/67 south of Pevely begin flooding
at the Joachim Creek bridge within a foot of this level.
* Impact: At 37.0 feet...Three more floodgates are closed at this
level: the Missouri Illinois Sand Company gate in south St. Louis,
the City of St. Louis railroad gate, and a double gate at East
Grand in north St. Louis. Also, with record inflow from the
Meramec in December 2015, Missouri Route K west of Kimmswick was
closed in both directions at Rock Creek near this height.
* Impact: At 36.5 feet...At this height, water will reach the base of
floodgates at Poplar and at Chouteau. With record inflows from the
Meramec, Missouri Route M was closed near this height from I-55 to
U.S. 61/67 in December 2015.
* Impact: At 36.0 feet...Near this height, Riverview Drive, or Route
H, is closed from the Northernbelt Industrial Railroad bridge to
just past Scranton Avenue.
