...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Freezing rain will continue through the morning. Ice
accumulations on elevated surfaces around a third of an inch are
possible.

* WHERE...Douglas, Osage, Franklin, Anderson and Coffey Counties.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...North winds are expected to increase into
the 10 to 20 MPH range. These winds could cause tree limbs
with ice to break. Bridges and overpasses are likely to become
icy as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

An Ice Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Significant amounts of ice accumulations
will make travel dangerous. Commerce will likely be severely
impacted. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight...food...
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Ice
accumulations and winds will likely lead to snapped power lines
and falling tree branches that add to the danger.

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued an Ice Storm
Warning, which is in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon. The
Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

* WHAT...Freezing rain is expected to overspread the area through
the morning. Ice accumulations on elevated surfaces around a
third of an inch are possible.

* WHERE...Douglas, Osage, Franklin and Coffey Counties.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...North winds are expected to increase into
the 10 to 20 MPH range. These winds could cause tree limbs with

conditions, including during the morning commute on Tuesday.
