...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and West
Virginia, including the following areas, in northeast
Kentucky, Boyd and Greenup. In southeast Ohio, Athens, Gallia,
Jackson OH, Lawrence OH, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and
Washington. In West Virginia, Cabell, Jackson WV, Mason,
Pleasants, Tyler, Wayne, and Wood.

* From Thursday evening through Sunday morning

* A cold front will stall over the area bringing several rounds of
heavy rainfall starting late tonight and into Thursday morning.
Waves of significant precipitation will continue to move across
the area into Sunday.

* Flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas, especially along
small streams, creeks and rivers, especially the Ohio and
Muskingum rivers, is possible.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
