The flood warning continues for
the Ouachita River At Felsenthal Lock and Dam, Arkansas.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:30 AM Wednesday The pool stage was 82.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood pool stage is 70 feet.
* Forecast...The river will recede to near 82.5 feet by Thursday
morning.
* Impact...at 83.0 feet...Expect long term flooding for several weeks
in the Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge. Travel becomes
difficult as all access roadways flood.

* At 10:00 AM Wednesday The stage was 45.8 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 40 feet.
* Forecast...Little change through Thursday morning.
* Impact...at 45.0 feet...The Prairon Bayou recreational area floods
and closes. Lowland flooding becomes extensive at this stage
between levees.

* At 6:00 AM Wednesday The pool stage was 68.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood pool stage is 65 feet.
* Forecast...Little change through Thursday morning.
* Impact...at 67.0 feet...The Columbia Lock and Dam recreational area
floods and must be closed. In addition, expect moderate to severe
flooding of lowland river bottoms between and near levee systems.
