...Damaging winds possible Tuesday...

.Strong and gusty West winds will develop late tonight and
continue into Tuesday afternoon. These winds may result in downed
tree limbs and power outages. The strongest winds will be across
the higher terrain, where winds may gust as high as 50 to 60 mph
at times, especially Tuesday morning.

...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a High Wind
Watch, which is in effect from late tonight through Tuesday
afternoon.

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible,
especially across the higher terrain.

* TIMING...5 AM Tuesday through 2 PM Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
lines. Numerous power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph...or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
