The Mississippi River Near Arkansas City
* until Sunday June 16.
* At 12:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 42.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
* Forecast...Heavy rainfall has fallen along the Arkansas River in Oklahoma.
The rise on the Arkansas River will produce a Mississippi River rise
to near 43.0 feet by Sunday June 2nd.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Mississippi River Near Greenville
* until further notice.
* At 12:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 54.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast...Heavy rainfall has fallen along the Arkansas River in Oklahoma.
The rise on the Arkansas River will produce a Mississippi River rise
to near 55.0 feet by Monday June 2nd
* Impact...At 55.0 feet...Practically all areas between levees are
flooded. Approximately 50 buildings have water inside them. Water
enters Farmers Grain terminal building north of the Greenville
bridge. Electric power is turned off to north and south Lake
Ferguson Road and Hillman-Logan Road.

* At 12:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 49.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast...Heavy rainfall has fallen along the Arkansas River in Oklahoma.
The rise on the Arkansas River will produce a Mississippi River rise to
near 50.5 feet by Monday June 3rd.
* Impact...At 51.0 feet...In Vicksburg, most streets west of Hutson
Street are flooded.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue falling.
* Impact...At 50.0 feet...Water reaches the south end of Hutson
Street. Hall Road at Cedars Road is closed and several businesses
on Highway 61 South are flooded in the Vicksburg area.

* Forecast...The river will continue falling.
* Impact...At 56.0 feet...Bourke Road which is south of Natchez is
underwater. Residents will have to boat into their homes.
