...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST MONDAY...

* Changes: None.

* Timing: Strongest winds will be through this evening and then
again Monday behind the cold front.

* Winds: West to Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 50 mph.
Wind prone locations, including the Highway 95 corridor near
Hawthorne, could gust to 60 mph.

* Impacts: Hazardous travel is possible for high profile
vehicles, especially near Hawthorne in the vicinity of
Walker Lake along the Highway 95 corridor. Damage to trees
and power lines could also result in power interruption.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Now is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio
furniture, and trash cans before winds increase which could blow
these items away. The best thing to do is prepare ahead of time
by making sure you have extra food and water on hand, flashlights
with spare batteries and/or candles in the event of a power
outage.
