...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT THIS MORNING...

* Temperatures: Widespread sub-freezing temperatures this morning
including both rural and urban areas across western Nevada and
eastern California. Valley lows ranging from 20 to 30 with a few
locations in the teens. Mountain valleys will dip well into the
teens.

* Impacts: For many areas, this will be the first hard freeze of
the fall season, killing unprotected garden plants and cold
sensitive crops. Irrigation systems may also be damaged if not
drained. Slick spots of ice are possible on sidewalks and roads
this morning from sprinklers not turned off.
