Guadalupe River Near Bloomington affecting Calhoun...Refugio and
Victoria Counties

.Recent and anticipated rainfall over the area will keep the
aforementioned rivers above flood stage for the next few days.
These river forecasts are based on forecast rainfall over the
area, and are subject to change with rainfall forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Guadalupe River Near Bloomington.
* from late Wednesday night until further notice...or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 11:00 PM Monday the stage was 13.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
to rise to near 23 feet by Friday early afternoon.

* At 24.0 feet Moderate lowland flooding occurs, with the river
reaching well into the flood plain. Any oil tank batteries, pump
jacks, and secondary roads near the river may be flooded.

the Aransas River...Copano Creek...Frio River...
Mission River...Nueces River...San Fernando Creek...

For the Nueces River Near Tilden.
* Latest Stage: 9.7 feet at 8 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 14.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 11.0 feet.
* Forecast: The river is forecast to rise to 13.2 feet
by Saturday evening. Additional rises to above flood
levels are expected by early next week as a flood
wave makes its way into the area.

For the Nueces River At Mathis.
* Latest Stage: 16.9 feet at 8 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 25.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 16.0 feet.
* Forecast: The river will continue a slow fall,
but will remain above caution stage as releases
from Lake Coprus Christi continue.

For the Frio River At Tilden.
* Latest Stage: 21.0 feet at 9 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 22.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 12.0 feet.
* Forecast: The river will continue a slow fall,
but will remain above caution stage for the next
several days. Recent rainfall upstream will
eventually makes its way downstream. Therefore,
additional rises will be possible by early next
week.

For the San Fernando Creek Near Alice.
* Latest Stage: 2.5 feet at 8 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 12.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 4.0 feet.
* Forecast: No flooding is expected, with the river
forecast to rise above caution stage overnight
and crest around 7.0 feet Tuesday morning.

For the Aransas River Near Skidmore.
* Latest Stage: 2.8 feet at 8 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 13.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 7.0 feet.
* Forecast: No flooding is expected, with the river
forecast to briefly rise above caution stage and
crest around 7.7 feet Tuesday morning before falling
below caution stage by Tuesday afternoon.

For the Mission River At Refugio.
* Latest Stage: 3.2 feet at 8 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 23.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 20.0 feet.
* Forecast: No flooding is expected, with the river
forecast to briefly rise above caution stage and
crest around 22.1 feet late Tuesday morning before
falling.

For the Copano Creek Near Refugio.
* Latest Stage: 7.5 feet at 8 PM Monday.
* Flood Stage: 12.0 feet.
* Bankfull and Caution Stage: 5.0 feet.
* Forecast: No flooding is expected, with the
river forecast to slowly fall, but will remain
above caution stage for the next several days.

.Recent or anticipated heavy rainfall upstream and over the
aforementioned river basin will result in river rises above
flood stage over the next few days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

All persons with interests along the river should monitor
the latest forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary
precautions to protect life and property. River stage forecasts
are based on observed and predicted rainfall. If actual
rainfall varies from forecast values, forecast river stages
will vary accordingly.
