.Low pressure developing in Colorado will interact with broad high
pressure across the Gulf to create strong southerly winds today.
Winds in excess of 30 mph will be expected for areas east of US
Highway 281 through sunset.

THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 8 AM this morning to 7 PM CST
this evening.

* TIMING...Midmorning through sunset.

* WINDS...Southerly winds of 25 to 35 mph with higher gusts this
afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Lightweight and unsecured objects will be easily blown
around and possibly damaged. Driving will be difficult,
especially high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 MPH are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
