...LOCALLY DENSE FOG EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHEAST WISCONSIN
TONIGHT...

Fog will continue to develop across much of northeast Wisconsin
late this evening and then linger through much of the night. The
fog will become locally dense at times, with visibilities of as
low as a quarter mile at times. The dense fog is expected to
continue through at least daybreak before gradually diminishing.

Motorists traveling across the region tonight into early Wednesday
morning can expect rapidly changing and poor visibilities at
times. Remember to use your low-beam headlights and allow extra
distance between you and the car in front of you.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Michigan...Wisconsin...

Menominee River near McAllister affecting Menominee and Marinette
Counties.

Wolf River at New London affecting Winnebago, Outagamie and
Waupaca Counties.

Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Shawano, Outagamie and Waupaca
Counties.

For the Menominee River...including McAllister...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Menominee River near McAllister.
* Until late Sunday night.
* At 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.0 feet
early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 16.5 feet, water approaches River Drive and Shore
Drive west of Wallace in Menominee County...Michigan. Water
approaches South Park Road east of Porterfield.

* Until Saturday morning.
* At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, flooding affects occur downstream of New
London. Several inches of flood waters surround sheds and garages
in lowland areas along Wolf River Drive in Fremont. There is
widespread lowland flooding downstream of New London.

the Wolf River near Shiocton.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 11.3 feet Tuesday
evening.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet, there is widespread lowland flooding. Water
is surrounding structures along the river near Island and Mill
Street.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 9.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall and drop below
flood stage by Friday or Saturday.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Flooding affects occur downstream of New
London. Several inches of flood waters surround sheds and garages
in lowland areas along Wolf River Drive in Fremont. There is
widespread lowland flooding downstream of New London.
