...Dense Fog Becoming Widespread...

.Dense fog has developed in low lying and cold drainage areas, but
has started to become more widespread. Law enforcement at some
locations reported visibilities under 100 feet at times.

The dense fog will persist through the morning commute, with
severely reduced visibilities providing a challenge for
travelers. Slow down and use extra caution.

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* VISIBILITY...|1/4 mile or less.

* IMPACTS...severely reduced visibilities for morning commuters.
Slow down, use extra caution while traveling.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than 1/4 mile. If driving...slow down... use your
headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

...Pockets of Dense Fog Early This Morning...

Fog has developed across parts of the region early this morning,
becoming locally dense and reducing visibilities to 1/2 mile or
less in low lying areas and near bodies of water.

The fog may persist through the morning commute. Motorists should
be prepared for sudden reductions in visibilities. Slow down and
use caution.
